Safran Secret recalls a mysterious adventure lived by Thibaud Crivelli during which he discovered a saffron field shrouded in a very thick fog. This deep, sensual composition is as captivating as enigmatic. It sees the brightness of a comforting saffron contrast with the opacity of warm and highly-diffusive woods.
Safran Secret is the new name of our fragrance previously known as Ingredients 07/2012, a creation that was offered exclusively to INGREDIENTS Prague to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

LP's Take: A surprising take on saffron! When it's the star of the show, saffron is usually deepend with oud or dark fruit, having it's leathery, shadow side enhanced. That's not the case here. With Safran Secret, a fuzzy, hazy saffron musk emerges on the wings of a warm spiced trail. The cloud-like effect of the musks used here give a puffy softness, while still allowing the saffron to assert its dominant presence, but in a more nuanced fashion. An odd "burnt match" scent reveals itself on the drydown, which leads to more intrigue of this perfume's seductive character. No, it's not incense smoke or fire smoke, just a simple burnt match. Quite unique. TBH, we would wear this in warm weather, even though it will truly excel in cooler temps. This delicate lover should be your next infatuation!
